hey, i’m carlosiento

Your Photographer, Experience Designer and Planning Consultant.

the word was never meant to represent apology

Carlos seen overlooking a mountainous landscape over a trailhead in Saguaro National Park in Arizona, shot in October of 2024 during sunset.

Though most interpret it that way at first glance, losiento was intentionally reconstructed to carry the opposite meaning.

The division — los·iento — subtly embeds the letters LOS from the name Carlos, transforming the word into both a signature and act of reclamation.

Much of the visual language behind the brand comes from movement: trips into the unknown, observations, immigrant family roots, long drives and the quiet stillness found between destinations.

Through observation, uncertainty, reinvention and determination.

some things are built slowly

I’ve always been drawn to images that feel lived-in rather than manufactured — moments where atmosphere, movement and imperfection reveal something human beneath the surface.

Whether documenting the loud moments after a Championship, or driving through a solitary stretch of highway through the Davis Mountains, the intention remains the same: create imagery that feels honest, cinematic and emotionally grounded.

The workspace includes various toolbars on the left side, a ruler at the top, and a section of the design with outlined text.

Photography became the foundation, but never the limit.

losiento continues to evolve through graphic design, film, branding, marketing campaigns and visual direction shaped by culture, memory and motion.
